Bacterial Vaginosis Treatment
Bacterial Vaginosis:
- Bacterial vaginosis is one of the most common vaginal infections
- It refers to the increase in level of bacteria in the vaginal area
Symptoms to look for:
- Excessive vaginal discharge
- Fishy odour with discharge
- Vaginal itching
- Pain during urination
Causes:
- Using intrauterine devices for contraception
- Prolonged intake of antibiotics
- Vaginal douching
- Smoking
- Multiple sexual partners
Natural home remedy using yogurt:
1. Take a cotton pad
2. Dip it in yogurt
3. Apply this yogurt on the vagina
4. Repeat 3 times a day
Natural home remedy using milk and turmeric powder:
1. Take 1 glass of warm milk
2. Add 1 tsp of turmeric powder
3. Mix well
4. Drink this mixture everyday till the condition is cured
Natural home remedy using margosa leaves:
1. Take a handful of margosa leaves
2. Heat on a pan for 3 min
3. Allow it to cool
4. Crush them into a fine powder
5. Take 2 tsp of this margosa powder
6. Add a little water
7. Mix well
8. Apply the paste, in and around the vagina
9. Repeat 2 times a day till the condition is cured
Tips:
- Consume yogurt everyday
- Wash and dry your vagina after sexual intercourse
- Maintain good vaginal hygiene
- Use good quality sanitary napkins
