Bacterial Vaginosis Treatment

Bacterial Vaginosis:

• Bacterial vaginosis is one of the most common vaginal infections
• It refers to the increase in level of bacteria in the vaginal area

Symptoms to look for:

• Excessive vaginal discharge
• Fishy odour with discharge
• Vaginal itching
• Pain during urination

Causes:

• Using intrauterine devices for contraception
• Prolonged intake of antibiotics
• Vaginal douching
• Smoking
• Multiple sexual partners

Natural home remedy using yogurt:

1. Take a cotton pad
2. Dip it in yogurt
3. Apply this yogurt on the vagina
4. Repeat 3 times a day

Natural home remedy using milk and turmeric powder:

1. Take 1 glass of warm milk
2. Add 1 tsp of turmeric powder
3. Mix well
4. Drink this mixture everyday till the condition is cured

Natural home remedy using margosa leaves:

1. Take a handful of margosa leaves
2. Heat on a pan for 3 min
3. Allow it to cool
4. Crush them into a fine powder
5. Take 2 tsp of this margosa powder
6. Add a little water
7. Mix well
8. Apply the paste, in and around the vagina
9. Repeat 2 times a day till the condition is cured

Tips:

• Consume yogurt everyday
• Wash and dry your vagina after sexual intercourse
• Maintain good vaginal hygiene
• Use good quality sanitary napkins
